Donald Duck, one of the most recognized characters in the Disney universe, is well known for his preferred clothing of a sailor shirt, cap, and red or black bow tie, and usually no pants. Donald has an explosive temper which, even though he fights to control it, still gets the better of him and leaves him hopping about and spluttering at the slightest provocation. Poor Donald also has the distinction having a life-long streak of bad luck, a streak that must have begun on his birthday, Friday the 13th. Donald’s one bit of good luck is that he has met his perfect match in his ladyfriend Daisy Duck. Donald and Daisy Duck are truly an icon.

No one else in Duckburg has the same kind of sway to her waddle as Daisy Duck, a fact the Donald is well aware of. Her quick wit and charming smile won his heart the first time he saw her way back in 1940. She is well aware of Donald’s shortcomings, especially his quick temper, but she loves him anyway.

A girl to be reckoned with, Daisy is not the least bit afraid to tell Donald when he’s being foolish, or give him an ultimatum about their relationship when he needs to change his ways, but she’s always confident that Donald will be back. Daisy has a temper that can be every bit as volatile as Donald’s though she is usually much better at keeping it under control.

Daisy is usually the more demanding partner in their relationship, she is a lady of taste who demands to be treated right. Donald knows that Daisy loves him no matter what, but he is still always careful to make sure he brings her flowers and candy and treats her to only the best when spending a night out on the town.

Their relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing, as there have been times when Donald has had to compete with other beaus for Daisy’s affection. There was a period of time when he had stiff competition in the form of his cousin, Gladstone Gander, but in the end Donald won out.

Donald and Daisy have been an item in Ducksburg for nearly seventy years, and though there don’t seem to be wedding bells on the horizon, the two are surely made for each other. Donald and Daisy Duck are a couple who truly make their own “happily everafter.”

Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner

If you want to hear about a modern day classic Hollywood romance story then look no further than Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. This proposed “Beniffer II” started after they met on the Daredevid movie set in 2003, however they did not start dating until 2004. They did not make their relationship a public one. Affleck had already learned from that mistake.

After a rocky romance with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck apparently learned from his mistakes. His relationship with Garner was kept under wraps until a Boston Red Sox game in 2004. They have had few public appearances together ever since, which have caused many rumors over the years that they have actually split up.

Affleck asked for Garner’s hand in marriage on her 33rd birthday and they married quietly on June 29, 2005 at the Resort at Parrot Cay on the islands of Turks and Caicos. Somehow they managed to keep this a secret.

They have since had two children together. Their children are Violet Anne Affleck, born in 2005, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, born in 2009. While split up rumors have been dispelled, it is still a hot story that will most likely come around again.

Both being democratic activists, Affleck and Garner both support the current president. Affleck in particular is a big environment activist and even started his own planet website. This keeps both of them in the news on a regular basis. Affleck’s dream is to teach others to care for our planet.

The love story between the two is beautiful. They met, dated and were married within the first year of dating. Their relationship obviously is working, despite their short dating life and they are happy with two daughters. Their love story is a modern day classic and it is a model for other Hollywood couples to follow.

When we first see Popeye and Olive together we find that Olive is not that impressed with him at all. She was actually the girlfriend of Ham Gravy back at this point in time. This was the way things were for a long time.

Then along came Popeye, it was not as people would think though, they were not an instant match when it came their relationship. In fact Olive did not like him much in the beginning and they would argue quite a bit. It took a bit of time for them to realize that they did care about one another.

After they did declare the feelings that they had for one another they did not have the normal kind of relationship that we see between couples. Olive was known to be the type of person that would get angry over very minor things.

Popeye on the other hand was quite violent in the early days of their relationship and this is one of the things that irritated Olive. This tendency towards violence that Popeye had in the past has seemed to calm down immensely due to the respect that he has for Olive.

Popeye also was a hero in Olive’s eyes. There are many situations where we see that Olive has been kidnapped or has gotten into some other situation that required a helping hand. It always was Popeye that would come to the rescue. This is one of the primary things that Popeye does that keeps Olive’s affection.

Bluto is a rival of Popeye’s that is continually trying to win over the affection of Olive. He is always trying some stunt or another to get Popeye out of the way so that he can make moves on Olive. But they never end up in the manner that Bluto wants them to as Popeye always seems to manage to get out of the situation and rescue the fair maiden Olive. It is no wonder they have had such a long relationship.

Despite what many people believe, it is hard for anyone to dig up any dirt online regarding Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, and whether there was a love affair between them. Apart from the fact that I found an album they made together called “Country Affair Vol1″!

What I did find strange however is the fact that her number one fan, and so called “foremost” expert on Dolly, does not entertain any questions regarding her ever having any kind of relationship with Kenny Rogers, including singing together. While she does touch on the issue of the chance that Dolly may be bisexual… Go figure?

Dolly Parton was born in January of 1946, she was one of 12 children in a poor family, and grew up on a run-down farm in Tennessee. By age 12 she was already appearing on TV in Knoxville, and recording for a small label at age 13. After she graduated high school she moved to Nashville to further her career and met Carl Dean, they fell in love and married in 1966. They are still married and I believe it is in this that the love story lays, if anything.

She has sung and recorded with many female and male counterparts, but Island in the Stream with Kenny Rogers was one of the more famous recordings. Dolly is hugely popular as both a singer and songwriter. The most famous, and the one which earns her the most royalties is “I Will Always Love You” - Whitney Houston’s recording. Let us say that it is safe to assume she is immensely rich, with a fortune in the region of $300 - $500 million.

Kenny Rogers was also from a poor family and was the fourth of eight children. Both his parents worked and he was the first family member to graduate from high school. He was interested in singing from a young age and was only 19 years of age when he recorded “That Crazy Feeling” for a small record label in Houston.

This launched his career and he joined the “New Christy Minstrels”, but his solo career soon took off. He has also sung and recorded with Sheena Easton and Kim Carnes. He now lives in Georgia with his fifth wife and breeds Arabian horses.

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have made quite a name for themselves individually, but where did this couple begin? They each paved their paths in separate ways not realizing that one day those paths were to cross.

On September 4, 1981 Beyonce Giselle Knowles made her first appearance in the world. Little did her parents know that this little girl was going to make a big splash in the world.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas Beyonce started performing from early on. She made a big impression in 1988 when she sang Imagine in a contest. After winning the prize she continued on and by 1990 formed the group Gyrls Time.

By 1996 Destiny’s Child made their big debut and Beyonce continued to head the group until they all went their separate ways in 2000 at which time Beyonce decided to go solo and has been a success ever since.

Jay-Z

Shawn Corey Carter was born December 4, 1969 in New York City. This rapper, who we all know as Jay-Z, began his life in the projects where he was abandoned by his father and raised by a single mother who did her best to instill good values in her sons. The streets got the best of Jay-Z and he ended up quitting school and roaming the streets in his younger years. Eventually he began freestyle rapping and eventually got a break in the 90’s.

Since then Jay-Z has become a rap mogul who has expanded his resume to include that of a record producer, fashion designer, and executive. There is no doubt that he has managed to climb to the top of his music empire.

The couple first met by doing various joint music ventures in the late 90’s and on into the new millennium. By the year 2002 they were officially a couple, but wanting to keep it private they shunned questions about their relationship.

After a six year relationship, the couple tied the knot in an intimate New York ceremony on April 4, 2008 and the rest is still to be seen. They prefer to keep their private life just that, but it is obvious that this fabulous couple is very much in love.

Beauty and The Beast

Beauty and the Beast… What’s to say about them? Well, there’s a lot to say. For starters, they hold a fairy tale romance that any girl would wish for in real life. Have you ever heard this popular Disney story? It all starts when a merchant who is very wealthy loses all of his money. From there, he along with his three daughters, including Belle, move to a small farmhouse where they have to work for a living. After years have passed, the father learns that there may be hope after all. With that thought in mind, he returns to the city. Before he returns, he asks his three daughters what they would like. Two of them as for fine dresses and jewelry while Belle asks for a simple rose. The merchant finds that he was not so lucky after all and he has no money to buy the girls the presents he had punished.

As he is returning back to the country, he gets lost in the forest. However, he goes to a castle for shelter. When he leaves, he finds a rose garden. At this moment he thinks of Belle. He picks the finest rose on the bush, but then is confronted by ‘Beast.” Beast tells him that he has to be his prisoner forever for accepting his hospitality. When the merchant explains that the rose his for his daughter, Beast requests her in place of him.

As Belle is in the castle, every night, Beast asks if she will marry him, however, each time she refuses. Now, the Beast was not a mean one, he was nice and took very good care of Belle. She thought of him as a friend, but each night, she started to have dreams of a prince. After awhile, she started to blame Beast for holding the prince hostage. After searching the castle, she comes across many enchanted rooms, but she never finds the prince.

Beast agrees that Belle can go see her family, as long as she returns a week later. However, the sisters (who are jealous) pretend to cry so that Belle does not go back to the castle. After awhile, she starts to feel bad because she broke her promise to Beast. She uses a mirror so that she can see him at the castle. She is heart-stricken when she sees him laying next to the rose garden… Dead. She uses a ring to get back to him. As she is crying over his dead body, a tear falls on him. During that time, he transforms in the handsome prince she had dreamed of. He explained that a fairy transformed him into that hideous creature and the only way to break that curse would be to find true love.

This is a lovely fairy tale that every little girl enjoys reading. In our minds, we all dream of marrying that handsome prince. However, in many cases, the handsome prince is disguised as being a beast. Perhaps love is what changes them into a prince?

There have been many famous lovers throughout centuries and we would like to tell you one that took place during the 1700’s. This is the story of Napoleon and Josephine. Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769 and died during the year 1821. He was born in Corsica. During the year 1785, he became an officer in the army and after going up promotions, he took command during 1795 of an army.

Marie -Josphe-Rose (Josephine) was born during 1763 and died in 1814. She grew up on Martinique, which was a nice island. During the year 1779, he married Vicomte de Beauharnais and during that time, she moved to Pairs. Together, they had two children, however, the couple ended up separating.

During the year 1795, she met Napoleon and that following year, they got married. During the year 1804, she was blessed by being crowned empress. However, during 1809, Napoleon ended the thirteen year marriage. During this time, she went to Malmaison, which is where she died during 1814. When Napolean nullified his marriage, he married Marie Louise of Austria and had a son together.

Napoleon became a general at a young age. Nearly all officers that he commanded were older than he was. He felt that if he married a woman that was older than him, he would be able to claim that he was older in order to gain respect from his fellow officers. However, he didn’t want to marry just any older woman, she had to be rich as well. When Napoleon met Rose, (that was Josephine’s name), he didn’t like her name, so he started to call her Josephine. Josephine married Napoleon after being told he had another mistress and could not afford to support them both and she would be thrown out on the street. She was a compulsive spender and could not bear that thought.

After marriage, Napoleon had to go to Italy. He loved Josephine, but she didn’t think much of him. At this time, she began to play around with his heart and had a long list of lovers. She pretended to miss him while she was gone and did everything in her power not to go to Italy to join him. She went as far as saying she was pregnant and was not able to travel. During this time, she was attending balls, parties and what’s that other thing? Oh yeah, committing adultery. Time passed and Napoleon learnt about Josephine. The tables turned and he wasn’t a faithful husband anymore.
