A Short View Of Cinderella And Prince Charming
The story of Cinderella and Prince Charming is known around the world. There are several versions of Cinderella but only two versions have the most fame. This story is majestic and tragic with a story book ending making is a story that no one forgets. Children and parents have enjoyed the magical tale of Cinderella for a very long time.
Every corner of the world has some type of story that is related to the original Cinderella and Prince Charming fairy tale. Although small details may be changed from place to place the base storyline remains the same.
Prince Charming Kissing Cinderella
Cinderella was a young maiden in medieval times. Her father passes away and her stepmother shows her true personality by condemning poor Cinderella to be a maid in her own house.
This just about the only part the two most famous versions of this story have in common. In the animated version Cinderella meets a fairy godmother while crying in the garden. The fairy godmother waves her magic wand while singing a spell putting Cinderella in a beautiful dress and creating a horse and carriage from a pumpkin and a mouse.
Cinderella then went to ball where she danced with Prince Charming and they fell in love. She dropped her shoe when running out of the ball because the spell was wearing off. The prince then took the shoe and made every maiden in the village try the shoe on. He soon found Cinderella and they were married and lived happily.

The other version was written by The Brother Grimm and had a darker side to it. At the beginning, the situation was the same. When the Prince came to claim the maiden who fit the shoe it went differently. The stepsisters tried their feet first but one had to cut off her own toe and the other had to cut off her own heal just to fit in the shoe. The story still ended the same thankfully.
Cinderella and Prince Charming has been enjoyed by many generations and will be enjoyed by many to come. It is a classic tale of heartbreak and happiness that is sure to please anyone who has a mind for fantasy.
