With an age difference of ten years Madonna and Guy met at a party organized by Sting and his wife. And from that day onwards until their untimely divorce it has been scandal after scandal.

When this perfect couple married in 2000 Guy was 32 and Madonna safely tucked in by the clamoring age of 42. At the time of the marriage being unionized they seemed like the perfect couple, and they were anyway until divorce proceeding got the better of them. Their marriage was just like any other, full of the ups and downs that are typical of 21st century marriages.

Just like any other celebrity affair this couple had different areas of specialization in the entertainment industry. Madonna was and still is a musician, actress and author. Her partner Guy was equally achieved being a movie director from Britain.

Their first child was born in the same year of their getting married and they were blessed with a son, born 3 weeks prematurely. But this was the beginning of a family that would later be riddled with controversy and media scorn. In the later years of their marriage they adopted two children of African birth, both from Malawi. But the media attention proved to be weaker tan their love for each other as they managed a further 3 years together.

Staying in Notting Hill (London) and Upper West side in New York they had a fairly decent marriage but it appeared the media frenzy over their adopted children got the better of them. Many accusations were leveled against them accusing them of abusing their children. So a few years later in 2008 they filed for divorce. Their marriage ended in 2009 after close to ten years of marriage.
