Bella Swan And Edward Cullen

Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are the two main characters in the popular fictional book series Twilight by Stephanie Meyers. The first two books have also been made into movies.

Bella is a quiet natured self admitted clumsy girl who lives with her father in Forks, Washington, where she has recently moved to from her mother’s home in Phoenix, Arizona. While transitioning into her new high school she become intrigued with and eventually falls in love with Edward Cullen, a vampire.

Edward Cullen is a man with a secret. He is a vampire. His adoptive vampire father, Carlisle Cullen, has instilled a sense of morality uncommon in vampire. Living in the rainy town of Forks, Washington, he lives under the disguise of being a 17 year old high school student even though he was actually born in June, of 1901. This is where he meets and falls in love with Bella.

A sort of forbidden love, this couple has a unique set of issues. The fact that Bella was a human at the beginning of the relationship made it hard at time for Edward to control his blood lust. Because he loved her so much he worried constantly about her safety. At one point he convinced himself that she would be safer with out him so he broke up with her and left. He changed his mind after she almost died when she went cliff diving. She was saved buy Jacob, a werewolf who also sought her affections.

After being reunited Bella struggles with the idea of marriage due to her parents relationship. And Edward struggles with Bella’s insistence on being turned into a vampire and having sex before she is turned. They come to the compromise of getting married, then having sex and later turning her into a vampire. Plans change a bit when she becomes pregnant. The strength of the vampire baby inside her almost kills her. Bella almost dies while giving birth. As soon as their daughter Renesmee is delivered he bites Bella transforming her into a vampire and curing all her injuries.

Though their troubles are not over the fictional Bella, Edward and Renesmee continue on to live a normal life. Or as normal as a vampire’s life can be.
