June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash
Johnny Cash was one of the most revered musicians of the 20th century. Born in Arkansas, the United States, on February 26, 1932, he particularly rose to fame in the late sixties. His early career began in Memphis, Tennessee where he was learning how to be a radio announcer. It was at this point when he started getting into music and by the mid fifties he was already starting to become famous.
In the early sixty’s, Johnny Cash’s career really started to take off and he developed somewhat of an outlaw image as, for some time he turned to heavy drinking and certain types of drugs. Johnny Cash was married twice, his second wife being June Carter Cash whom he married on the 1st of March of 1968. Sadly, Johnny cash died at the age of 71 on September 12, 2003, only a few months after his wife died.
June Carter was born on the 23rd of June, 1929. She was a famous singer and songwriter and actress from the United States. A specific skills were playing the guitar, harmonica, banjo and autoharp. She also played some significant roles and a number of films and shows on television. Four album press on, published in 1999 she won a Grammy award. Posthumously, she was awarded to more Grammys in 2003.
Johnny Cash certain he left quite a legacy in the rock’n'roll business. Avenge she moved on to country music since he had a wide range of skills. During his impressive career he wrote as much as 1000 songs over dozens of albums. He was also widely known for his charitable work including is extensive support for SOS Children’s Villages.
Johnny Cash won a number of awards for his country music over a career that covered nearly five decades. For many people, use the most significant and revered in the world of country music.
