The Love That Unfolded For Diana Frances Spencer (Lady Diana) And Charles Philip Arthur (Prince Charles)
English royalty has always had an enchanting and magical air about them. Those that view this family from a distance could best described as standing in awe. How did the love between Diana Frances Spencer (lady Diana) and Charles Philip Arthur (prince Charles) begin? This is truly one of the greatest royal love matches in history.
Prince Charles knew Diana for many years before becoming interested in her in a romantic way. He actually courted her sister Sarah first. However, when the years passed and he had not married, Queen Elizabeth pressed him on to find a suitable bride. Diana was, of course, the best choice.

Lady Diana & Prince Charles
Princess Diana was from a distinguished family in England. She met all royal criteria to become the wife of the Charles, the Prince of Wales. He asked for her hand in marriage in February of 1981 and they were married in July of the same year.
The marriage between these two was extravagant by all means. After all, they are a part of the royal family. Princess Diana bore two sons, William and Henry. She has been reputed as being a wonderful mother and wife. However, things did not turn out to be the fairy tale love story it was supposed to be. The happily ever after part was unfortunately dissolved by divorce in the 90s.

The Royal Engagment Announcement
Prince Charles supposedly had an affair with a former girlfriend, Camille Parker-Bowles. Princess Diana was reported to have had suicidal tendencies following that incident. The divorce involved bitter statements from both of them blaming each other for all the marital troubles.
Princess Diana later died in a car wreck that devastated the entire world. The royal family was also crushed as well. She was light in the darkness and was as honored as such during the funeral ceremonies. The whole world mourned her it seemed. Her funeral will go down in history as being the one for a beautiful lady and a one of a kind princess.
